Everything you need to know before booking your shoot.
Yes — all commercial drone operations in the Maldives require CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) approval. I'm fully certified and handle all permits and coordination with resort management on your behalf. No paperwork for you.
Safety is the priority — I won't fly in unsafe conditions. If weather forces a cancellation, I offer a full reschedule at no extra cost. I monitor forecasts closely and usually build a weather buffer day into multi-day shoots.
Peak season (November – April) books up 4–6 weeks in advance. For weddings and multi-day resort shoots I recommend securing your date at least 6–8 weeks out. Off-season bookings can sometimes be arranged within a week.
Edited videos are delivered as H.264 MP4 files optimised for web and social. RAW footage (Professional & Premium packages) is provided as original camera files. Photos are delivered as high-resolution JPEGs, with RAW files on request.
Golden hour flights are available and produce the most cinematic results — I highly recommend planning at least one session around sunrise or sunset. Night flying requires additional CAA clearance and is available on Premium packages.
Yes — I cover the entire Maldives, including remote northern and southern atolls. Speedboat and seaplane transfers are coordinated through your resort; applicable travel costs are added to your quote transparently upfront.
I accept bank transfer (USD), credit/debit card via invoice, and PayPal. A 50% deposit secures your booking; the balance is due on shoot day. Resorts and businesses can be invoiced on 14-day terms.
